Designing from the inside out
This family home in Reigate is about to undergo a substantial transformation, with a large extension and the addition of a dedicated gym and spa.
We are working alongside the appointed architect from the early stages, so we can consider the architecture and interiors together and ensure the home works beautifully for the family from the outset.
The vision is to create a warm, elegant and wonderfully lived-in home that balances practical everyday family life with spaces for entertaining, relaxing and spending time together.
Thoughtful zoning, storage and flow will be central to the design, with each room having its own character while still feeling connected to the wider home. Heirloom pieces and personal items will sit alongside carefully selected new additions, bringing personality and history to the interiors.
Natural finishes, tactile fabrics and warm tones will form the scheme's foundation, with layered lighting and considered colour adding depth and interest throughout. Bespoke joinery, integrated technology and practical storage will be carefully incorporated without compromising the overall aesthetic.
Being involved before construction begins also allows for the finer interior details, from lighting and electrical positions to joinery, finishes and furniture layouts. These are to be considered early and translated into clear schedules for the contractors.
Ultimately, the aim is to create a home that feels welcoming, functional and deeply personal, designed around the family now, while continuing to work beautifully for them for years to come.
